Commemorative Formation Flying
The magnificent and heart stirring sound of two Merlins and one Allison engine flying close together is something your spectators will never forget. The three fighters of Warbirds of the Med are flown by highly experienced formation pilots and can offer spectacular photo opportunities as they thunder down the show line in a three ship “vic,” echelon or line astern formation. Combine these crowd-pleasing formations with slow and stately passes from the Swordfish and you have the makings of your best event yet.
Full Aerobatic Demonstrations
The Spitfire, Hurricane and P-40 Kittyhawk can all be flown in individual full aerobatic displays that demonstrate some of the amazing capabilities of these historic fighters. Set to music, the experienced ACE-qualified pilots take your spectators through dizzying loops, cuban-8s, barrel rolls, chandelles and clean, dirty and knife-edge passes. The photo ops alone will draw spectators from hundreds of miles away.
Sponsor and Press Rides available
Nothing sells tickets to your event like press coverage from your local paper and TV station. Two of the Warbirds of the Med aircraft, the Kittyhawk and the Swordfish, can offer unique opportunities to get your message out as reporters share the cockpit in these historic aircraft. As well, you can sponsor a ride in our Swordfish for two people and treat your major sponsors to the flight of a lifetime.
